HIMACHAL PRADESH TOUR EXTENSION

EXTENSION 04: HIMACHAL PRADESH (8 Nights / 9 Days)

Day 12: Udaipur to Delhi.
After breakfast check out of the hotel and proceed to the airport to catch the flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi airport and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and night stay in hotel.

Day 13: Delhi to Chandigarh( 240 kms - 5 hrs by road).
After breakfast check out of the hotel and depart for Chandigarh.Arrive Chandigarh and check in at the hotel.Rest of the day will be at leisure.Dinner and night stay in hotel.

Day 14: Chandigarh to Shimla ( 105 kms – 4 hrs by road)
After breakfast check out of the hotel and depart for Shimla.Arrive Shimla in the afternoon and transfer to hotel. Shimla is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh.It is surrounded by pine, deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Shimla was also the summer capital of the British Raj. Visit to the Mall, stately mansions, curiosity shops, Observatory Hill, Kennedy House, Scandal Point, Christ Church and Jakku Hill crowned by the Hanuman temple. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 15: Shimla
After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Kufri, Fagu valley and Naldhera. Kufri has some good hiking trails and ski slopes, cedar forests and excellent picnic spots. Naldhera has spruce pines, English style cottages and popular golf course,which happens to be the oldest in India.Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 16: Shimla to Manali (260 kms – 6 hrs by road).
After early breakfast depart for Manali by road . Enroute Visit enchanting Kullu Valley on River Beas. Arrive at Manali.Evening rest.Overnight and dinner at the hotel.

Day 17: Manali
After early breakfast enjoy a breadth taking drive to Rohtang Pass (51 Kms) on the highway to Keylong/Leh. The Pass is open from June to October and is a gateway to Lahaul, Spiti, Pangi and Leh Valley.Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 18: Manali
Breakfast. This morning visit Hidimba Temple, Manu Mandir, Vashisth Kund and Naggar Art Gallery. Afternoon free for shopping Dinner and overnight at hotel

Day 19: Manali to Chandigarh ( 290 kms - 7 hrs by road).
After breakfast, depart for Chandigarh.Enroute visit the Shawl factory at Kullu.Arrive Chandigarh and transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 20: Chandigarh to Delhi (240 kms – 5 hrs by road)
After breakfast go on a city tourr of Chandigarh - Visit the unique Rock Garden made out of city garbage. Visit the Museum and Art Gallery housing an exquisite collection of paintings and sculptors. Visit the Rose Garden boasting nearly 1600 varieties of roses, the Sukhna Lake, with boating, & yatching facilities. Drive to Delhi to catch the flight back home.
